Miyako also published a book called “Sock & Glove“, which provides step-by-step instructions on how to turn socks and gloves in to lovable softie characters.

If you have wanted to make a sock monkey but just can’t seem to get your head around how to actually construct a monkey out of a pair of socks (I admit, it puzzled me for a long while before it finally clicked), you will want to read this tutorial:

Every step is very detailed and well explained, and the accompanying pictures are excellent in terms of providing the necessary guidance (especially if you are visual person). The little guy even has a really cute “tattoo” on his chest:-)
