How sweet are these Toadstool Cottage and Mushroom House Pincushions?

I think they would look so gorgeous lined up on a dresser in different sizes and with different embroidered details. Or how about making them in to ornaments? Give-aways? How about enlarging the pattern and making a toadstool 1 or 2 feet tall for your child’s bedroom?

Kootoyoo provides an excellent step-by-step tutorial on how to make a Toadstool Pincushion. I know this tutorial is about making a Pincushion but you could easily adapt it into a softie too.

Not only does she provide an easy to follow slide-show but it’s also available in PDF.
This would be a great beginner’s project and a creative way to use up scraps. They would look very cute in a bunch in different colours.
