Jodie, one of my favourite Aussie softie-makers, has posted up the free pattern and instructions to make these sweet little rodents:

I think I have mentioned before that I am not rodent-friendly but these guys . . . well, they are hard to resist! The project is available in Scribd, which will allow you to view it all on screen or download it or print it off. Instructions are clear and well written. Note that this is a button jointed softie so may not be suitable for young children.

Brought to you by Esprit Cabane, the free pattern is in jpg format and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. A good one for Beginner softie-makers - it only requires that you understand the basic softie-making steps.

Another Softie Extraordinaire, Teresa of Sewing Stars, has a free pattern for these cute “rodents”:

Admittedly, I am not a fan of mice (actually, they freak me out) but these guys are just too sweet, especially when made up in those pastel shades that remind me of ice cream :-) Teresa provides the pattern and tutorial in pdf format and the instructions sheet is wonderfully illustrated.
